| - I am seeing all of the great comments on here about the big, clean, and friendly place the Las Vegas Laundry facilities are; well let me enlighten you all a bit. The place is large and multiple sized machines, however they have absolutely no "HOT" water! Regardless of what temperature cycle you select, your water is "COLD!"
If you need to use the restrooms you had better prepare yourselves to use your laundry card and pay for entrance to the bathroom. The reason behind this is because of the indigent people in the neighborhood and that the owner Bruce has one person bouncing around from store to store and does not have a person on premise at all times, and this will keep the rig-raff away and put more money in his pocket.
So if this is the atmosphere you desire while doing your laundry, this is the place for you...."Pay Toilets", "Cold water wash machines", and no attendant on duty at all times, not to mention that the free wifi has a code that may or may not work.
I'm saving up so that I can either buy my own machines or seek someplace new because this service has steadily declined!!
How pathetic is it that one of the comments from Bruce is the owner; bet he gave this place a 5 star rating!
Update - After months of dickering with Bruce about the lack of Hot Water, Bruce finally broke down and had the hot water heaters fixed; still not what hot water should be, but a far cry better than the cold that filled his washers. Speaking of his washers, Bruce raised the price on ALL Washers by $0.25 cents. I'm all for profit and such but this guy is truly so tight he squeaks.
Attendants are still not there, bathrooms still cost to use, and last time I visited here to do my laundry, there was a man that had put a $20.00 bill in the changer and got nothing. He called the number in the office (in case of trouble) and got a voice mail. The man then left a message explaining what had happened. 30 minutes later he received a call from Bruce and told him what had happened again. He added that he didn't have any extra money and would like to have his $20 changed. He was informed that Bruce would check into the situation at a later time/date, and if the mans story was indeed true, Bruce would MAIL him a check for return! Seriously, mail him a refund? How about drive to the store or have an attendant that could verify the story and hand the customer his money back.....
At any rate, I use this location because I haven't my own washer/dryer and Bruce owns 2 of the 3 Laundromats in the area.
