Let's start with the bad...
LOCATION: Does not appear to be the safest location (fyi), but it is closest conveniently close to the strip. A block or two away from the Stratosphere and also behind a neighbor filled with hipsters and retirees. It's cultured to say the least. Depending on when you go, the parking lot is not to spacious and there's always ongoing traffic... just be careful.
VENUE: Stands out with its bright yellow interior. It makes me feel mellow and happy to be inside &good memories every time I drive past. There's also Venezuelan gelato shop right next door which its it feel very authentic. Along with the yellow, the photos of the menu all around and make my mouth watery as I try to figure out what to order.
Music is welcoming and the bathroom is clean and might I add, cozy. Find out for yourself, lol.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: Very accommodating, always friendly as well as fast.
FOOD: There are two sauces you have to try!
I always get my garlic shrimp arepa along with an empanada or two.... along with some fries and rice if I'm really hungry.
The first time I came with my vegan friend and she devoured as much as I did on her own terms, so I'd always like to think this place is vegan-friendly.
I'm never disappointed with my order because the food is always consistent and more than anything else, delicious!
OVERALL: I've recommended this place numerous times to people. I've tried an arepa from a food truck and nothing compares to VIVA LAS AREPAS! I've been in love with this place since it was a small food stand and if you're craving something that you fill you up with warmth and carbs. THIS IS IT!
