  • This review is for COLLEGE STREET DENTAL. Apparently they changed their business name on Yelp to Carlton Dental, which most likely doesn't exist. I completely agree about the reception staff. All the receptionists I have spoken to seem to hate their jobs, and are not friendly what-so-ever. They talk to you as if it is YOUR privilege to be served by them with a "know your place" attitude. When I got my teeth cleaned, I was not given fluoride, mouthwash...or a polishing! Very unacceptable for a regular dental cleaning. The girl I got was not gentle at all and only smiled when my gums were bleeding and I was moaning in pain. When I asked why I wasn't getting fluoride, she said that "your tuition doesn't include it." I offered to pay extra to have it provided but she said "It's not my job, speak to receptionist"....excuse me? The only positive notes of my visit were the nice location, cleanliness and the senior dentist. In other words...this place sucks. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the staff was working without pay or did not obtain their degrees yet. Clearly they have very minimal experience.
