  • Dr Kim and his staff are top notch! They are so professional, thorough, and caring. They are genuinely friendly, really take the time to listen to you, answer your questions, work with you to meet your scheduling needs (I showed up early for my consult and they were able to see me early), make sure you understand the charges and billing so there are no surprises, and help prepare you for a successful recovery. The office is very clean and simply pretty- light, open, comfortable, there's cold water while you wait, a tv, and plenty of magazines. During the consult, Dr Kim actually took the time to look in my mouth, and then go over the xrays with me (rather than just sit me in front of a video- although if you want to see a video, his website has one: www.pinnaclepeakos.com). He was able to use the panno films my dentist had sent rather than charging me to do new films. I needed to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted, and he went over the procedure, possible complications, and what recovery would look like. Then one of his staff came in, and was great in going over the estimate and the release forms, and was able to get me scheduled for the extractions to meet my scheduling needs. I never felt any pressure, and everyone there, from Nancy at the front desk, to the assistants who brought me back, and the gal that went over the paperwork with me are all genuinely caring and made the whole experience a pleasure. And today was actually the day I had my wisdom teeth extracted! The recovery has gone well so far because I knew what to expect thanks to Dr Kim & staff. Since I had chosen sedation, before we got started, the assistant got me hooked up to monitoring equipment, hooked up some nasal oxygen, Dr Kim answered my questions, set an iv catheter, and as the sedation kicked in, the last thing I remember saying was "Here we go!" About 45 minutes later I was done and actually feeling pretty good for having had 4 teeth extracted. They wheeled me out to my ride's car and gave me the discharge instructions. A really nice finishing touch was the "Get Well Pack"- with gauze, chapstick (one the the complications can be cracks in the corners of your mouth), tea bags (the tannic acid can help control bleeding), and a nifty ice pack to fill with ice. I did have one episode of pain in the area he warned me about, but I've been sticking to the meds schedule and am feeling really good now. I also used the gauze and a tea bag and both were effective in the little bit of bleeding I had. Oh, and once I was home, Dr Kim actually left me a voicemail while I was napping to check in on me and left his cell number if I had any questions or concerns. If you need a fantastic oral surgeon with a great office, I highly recommend Dr Kim & Pinnacle Oral Surgery. www.pinnaclepeakos.com Many thanks to Dr Kim & staff for helping to make my whole experience a totally positive one!
