  • Our dryer wasn't drying and we had a repairman come and look at it. Turns out our dryer vent was clogged. The repairman recommended a couple of places that I called. I wasn't happy with either one. They wanted to charge a service fee to come and give me an estimate. I was in the plumbing business for close to forty years and I know that usually when a company wants to charge a service fee to give you an estimate for a smaller job like cleaning a dryer vent the price will usually be excessive. I called Anthony James Air Conditioning, who does our A/C work, and they recommended A-Z Air Duct. A-Z Air Duct was great! They gave me a fair price when I called. They came out the next day. They were an hour early, which was great. They called to make sure it was okay to come early. They were efficient. They showed us everything they were going to do. They did a clean job and made sure there wasn't a piece of lint anywhere, inside or outside of the house. And there were no "surprise" or "unanticipated" charges. The price they gave is the price it was. I like the fact that they are a local, honest company that cares about the customer. They gave us a price to clean our A/C ducts, and we will be calling them to do it.
