| - Worst experience from beginning to end. The first time I walked in just to book an appointment I should have known better! Front desk staff took 10 minutes just to answer a question about booking an appointment. Ultimately, I had to call to book my appointment.
My experience at the salon:
I tried resolving my issue with the manager, Dave before writing this review. Clearly he was more about proving himself and his employee right rather making the customer happy. I apologized for being inaccurate on one point, but he explained away two other issues I addressed. Very arrogant and rude over the phone and email. Not about customer service, more about proving himself right.
Heather was my stylist and from the beginning I was made to feel like what I had to spend was not good enough for the services offered. I just sat there silent and awkward the rest of the appointment when clearly I should have walked out. My bad. Expect to be nickled and dimed for every little thing. So make sure they communicate that with you before you receive the service. Ask questions!
Ultimately, I just did not feel valued for the services I paid for. I spent $100 for my color(Literally 6 foils and a retouch). The hot towel was forgotten and she forgot just the common courtesy of putting up my footrest when she was washing my hair. Basically, I felt like she wasn't treating me like she would a higher paying customer. She told me she would add an extra foil or two at the back as a "service". Instead she put a final conditioner on my hair I wasn't told about until she claimed she had to the manager, Dave, after the fact. I was clearly not aware of the 'extra' conditioner. So, now it's my word against hers and Dave chose to side with her.
Ultimately, for me as a working mom $100 is hard earned money and I felt I was not valued at their establishment. I also walked out with a ruined shirt I had purchased a few days before. Clearly, at some point something in the color process or treatment had splattered on my shirt leaving marks on it.
Do you like a relaxing environment? No here! They allowed a child to run through their salon yelling while clients were getting their hair done. Not relaxing for a busy mom just trying to have a few hours of pampering.
If you decide to get your hair done here make sure you know to overly communicate so you don't have the experience I did. Clearly, I will take half of the responsibility as should they, but didn't. Horrible customer service.
