I didn't think this place was all that great. I blame the time and day I chose to go.
I met up with friends on a Saturday night around 9pm. You'd think things would be poppin' off.. Nope! The place was empty. Granted, the Life is Beautiful festival was going on downtown and any shows at the Stratosphere were probably still going on as well. I'm guessing after the shows get out and during their happy hours, the place is a lot more crowded. Being that our server only had one table, our service was great! Not a great selection of beer and while their flavored martini's were tasty, they were weak. I like my Cosmopolitan to have a little bite... don't we all? Especially at $15.00 a glass. Super overpriced. In addition to the restaurant on the 106th level (which I've eaten at) I feel they need to make some adjustments to bring in a younger more vibrant crowd.
The view is awesome and there are plenty of little tables with lounge couches to choose from all over the circular lounge. You can't cheat a glass of wine, so I would stick with that. They had a nice selection.
If you're looking for a quiet place with great service and a killer view, you'll like Level 107. Great if you have tourists with you who are in search for a quiet lounge. If you're nervous about the movement of the restaurant, no worries, the bar does not move along with the restaurant. Make sure you go check out their great happy hour specials!
