  • Wisdom Tooth Pain?!! Not anymore, thanks to Dr. Patrick O'Connor. :) 5 STAR SERVICE!!! Dr. O'Connor is an AWESOME Oral Surgeon and overall genuine guy!! I would give him more stars, actually all the stars if I could! My husband called Dr. O'Connor's office in total pain from a wisdom tooth that had cracked yesterday :'(. Debbie scheduled an appt. to get my husband in first thing 7am this morning. After a 11pm no food or drinks order, my husband was just waiting till the sun came up to go to his appt. this morning and get prepped for extraction. We arrived at 6:45am and the doctors staff was there to greet us with friendly smiles. Special thanks to Monica and Debbie (front desk staff) for being so very nice and helpful. Tracy who is also very sweet, understanding and helpful was doing everything she could in making my husband as comfortable as possible given the circumstances (in total pain from wisdom tooth) :( . She took my husband back for his quick x-ray then assigned us to our room. Right on schedule my husband and I went back to the room where Dr. O'Connor showed my husband his x-ray and explained what would be done and what to expect. He has a way of easing anxiety in patients and their concerned family members. He has a very gentle bedside manner which is hard to find these days. Fortunately for us, I believe its important to him. Next, they took him back, knocked him out (put him to sleep) and extracted his wisdom tooth. Dr. O'Connor informed me all went well. Guess what? We were home by 8:40am! Husband is now resting on the road to recovery :) . We follow up in a week for final check-up :) I highly, highly recommend Dr. O'Connor for the following reasons... # 1. Dr. O'Connor On Christmas day 1998 my niece down visiting from Florida knocked her two front teeth back (age11). Strongly recommended from a doctor we met at the E.R. Dr. O'Connor sacrificed family time to come in on Christmas day and handle this SEVERE Trauma to her mouth, mind you she wasn't even his patient! His compassion and complete care for kids is absolutely WONDERFUL!! It is was his quick action along with an arch bar that made it possible to save those 2 front adult teeth. :) #2. Dr. O'Connor took out ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth in, I think 2000. Excellent service!!Recovery was easy :) #3. Dr. O'Connor took out ALL 4 of my daughters wisdom teeth out age (15) in 2005. Again, easy recovery with excellent service! #4. Dr. O'Connor just helped my husband out by quickly getting him in and removing his troublesome wisdom tooth. Other 2 wisdom teeth are ok :) Yes he only had 3 total ;) Tip- Catch this Fantastic Doctor (Oral Surgeon) for your dental extraction needs before he retires!
