  • Cake Royale has had a stand in the West Side Market for over 10 years. Late last year they opened a beautiful double store front in Old Brooklyn at 4276 Pearl Road. Their fabulous French pastries and cakes are now available Tuesday through Saturday from 7am to 6 pm. The individual tortes are available later in the week but the cakes are sold everyday at $5 for a large slice. Lemon custard and German chocolate, strawberry pistachio and pineapple mousse cake. It's really hard to have ONE favorite they are all delicious and made with butter, whipping cream and fresh fruit. You can even have a coffee and a pastry in their "living room" and admire the wall murals of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe created by Danilo Zammattio from Ohio City. C'est magnifique!
