What great stadium. This is up there with the likes of Camden Yards and Petco Park.
There was tons of food, the entire stadium was accessible, and the location was very convenient in the heart of downtown Cleveland. The standing room areas could have been improved on a bit but you also have to remember that this is not one of the newer stadiums.
I really liked how they had the memorial area in the outfield with all the plaques of past greats. It wasn't like yankee stadium where you have to wait half hour to get down there, you can just come and go as you please.
Food stands were numerous and the pulled pork sliders and mac and cheese were delicious. The ice cream stands don't just serve up the traditional soft ice cream in a helmet, they actually have many different flavors of hard ice cream to choose from.
The beer and alcohol stands were everywhere and lacked any lines...at least i think so because i was pretty much black out by the end of the game.
Stadium was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night in the summer against a division rival. It was only about half full, which was fine because we could pretty much sit anywhere we liked. The atmosphere after the game was a little week as well. Bars were pretty empty and not to much was going on. For pregame though we went to the Thirsty Parrot and it was packed out. $3 Coors Light tall boys were going down like water.
If I ever find myself in Cleveland again I'll definitely be checking to see if the Indians are in town.
