  • It seems that we were just in time to run into their soft opening. We got the Maiko special parfait and the basic matcha soft serve cone. And I don't get how they already ran out of sweet red beans. So they replaced the red beans with more mochi balls and it just didn't do the zap for me. Moreover, the layering of the parfait is just not harmonious. They put way too much corn flakes, and not enough ice cream to make up for the dryness. Not worth the $8+ that you have to pay for the below average arrangement. The matcha soft serve on the other hand is pretty good but they are a little stingy on the ice cream. It's freaking $6 for a basic cone. Can't I get a little more squeeze?
