Let me start out by saying that my dog, although the love of my life, is not the best with strangers (men in particular)
One night I noticed some lumps on his throat and immediately booked an appointment at whole pet. I was really happy that they were able to get him in the very next day! I let the receptionist know that he was not the best with strangers when I called. When we went in for the appointment, they made sure to not have any random people in the waiting room. We were greeted by a friendly face. The entire staff did anything they could to make Braun (my pooch) feel comfortable and not stressed. The nurses went above and beyond letting Braun get used to them and even went as far as giving him cheese to put him at ease.
After Braun was diagnosed with lymphoma, we were devastated!! Erica was super optimistic about treatment and gave us multiple treatment options. I never felt judgment or pressure from the vet, just options and helpfulness. We were sent home with some drugs for Braun, and I had a million questions. Erica was so kind to respond to every email I had and was more than happy to answer any questions I had when I called. She even put us in contact with a specialist that could further help us.
This was one of the hardest things our family has gone through... I must say that the staff at whole pet has made this horrible illness much more tolerable with their outstanding customer service and willingness to go that extra mile for your pet!!
