We were at Harbourfront on a very busy weekend. The city was buzzin' with Pride celebrations and the Tall Ship festival on the waterfront. There were people everywhere. That being said, there was quite a long wait to get a table to eat. The wait list system was a bit strange, they took our name and just told us to hang out near the bar. There was live music on the WestJet stage next door so a LOT of people were hanging out near the bar. Then they just came walking through the crowd shouting your name :P Very difficult with loud music playing. But eventually we got a place at a picnic table.
They have big square picnic tables on the patio with plants in the middle. So you can chat with your neighbours if you like (which we did), or you can keep to yourself and hide behind the plants if you like. We ordered the pulled pork sammy and a glass of red wine to share. The sammie was delicious. The wine was ok, but served in a yucky plastic cup. I get it, it's a patio. But they could have been served in a reusable, stronger plastic glass, instead of a disposable, thin plastic cup you'd get at an outdoor concert.
I'm curious to come back when it's not so crazy busy.
