rev:text	My husband bought my beautiful engagement ring, band and a pair of diamond studs from this Kay location. When he purchased, the staff was great. Barbara was so personable, and we enjoyed going for inspections and chatting. This store since has had tremendous turnover. The people look at you like you are a loser if you don't buy something, and just go to do your inspections. My earrings are in a Sterling setting, and they keep turning black and tarnished. When the backs couldn't be cleaned, they suggested new ones. However, they don't even have them. The lady brought out a small separated case, and fumbled through sizes and colors. I ended up with oversized gold backs. Not cool. My rings were fine, and this time, didn't seem very clean and sparkling after the inspection and cleaning, like they usually do. Another gripe I have with Kay is lack of ability to update information on the customer account. One would think that if a customer could have all of their products in one place, it would make things easier. Crazy thought, right? You can't even update your name. So when we got the wedding band under my maiden name, that's how it has to stay in their system. I don't get it. I also had my promise ring serviced here, as the white gold had begun to turn back to yellow. I put it in to be re-rhodium coated. It was horrible, and I was told that sometimes it doesn't "take". Well, ok. Guess I spent 50 bucks for nothing then? If the service doesn't take, you shouldn't take my money either, no? In order to maintain my warranty, I'll have to keep coming here. But I'm sure they'll keep making me feel like a bum when I do.
