This spa was huge and the grounds were nice! The massage treatment I received was outstanding. I wish I could give the spa 5 stars but unfortunately my experience at the spa was not all that amazing.
Check in was painfully slow - took 15 minutes to get someone to check us in. We asked for a tour and the hostess took us around and point out a few amenities (later we found out there was more to the spa then what was shown to us). The women's section was extremely packed - when I say extremely I literally mean it. It was crowded and hard getting around the women's locker room bc there were ladies everywhere. There were a bunch of loud groups talking loudly and totally ignoring spa etiquette. It took away from the serene spa feeling. I wished management controlled that a bit more. Also, towels were overflowing on the chairs and baskets for hours. Cold towels were always out. It looked like only one woman was maintaining the spa area but with the amount of ppl there seemed like more staff was needed. Showers were not turned out as quickly as they were used. And the lounge was always packed with women so in the 4 hours I was there I never got a chance to sit and relax in there - oh and it was same case for the pool. I felt like the spa favored quantity of clients rather than the quality of care. Sad because I had high expectations from a Fairmont branded spa.
