  • I have had Lenny Boy's beers and kombuchas many time over the years but this was my first visit to the brewery. They are the only organic brewery in Charlotte and are also the only certified organic kombucha brewer in the Southeast (according to the Charlotte Observer). The brewery is up a flight of stairs but they made it accessible by adding an electric chair to the staircase - nice touch. It is a small, very laid back place. Basically it is just a room with a bar and a few tables in a warehouse building that still has several warehouses operating. The beer and kombucha are definitely on point and I particularly like their brown ale. The kombucha is great when you need something refreshing, especially after a few beers. They are probably the smallest brewery in Charlotte in therms of production and space but it looks like that might be changing soon. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/small-business/article32163861.html
