I had a great recommendation to Doggie District from a very trusted source. I called about a tour and they told me I could come at any time during business hours. The woman who answered the phone was a little strained for my sensibility, but she was nice and I went. I arrived at (maybe a bad time) 4 pm. The woman at the front was rude to a co-worker, in my opinion, right off. I had brought my dog and she called for someone to take care of him while on the tour. He had to stay in the lobby because (there are dogs back there). interesting. the tour was brief and the place was very clean but the dogs were barking like i had arrived at the dog pound. There was NO explanation of how things worked there, just a request for a 3 hour orientation requiring shot records and go from there. I felt very uncomfortable, then the tour person was rude to another co-worker. I have never kenneled my dog and have a trip planned for 5 days in the near future. To say I am freaked out is a bit on the mild side. I'm sure no one ever says they don't care what happens to there pet at a Kennel, but I certainly do. not my idea of a friendly place that will take good overnight care of my beloved pet. Moving on.
