| - Came here for a full set on the suggestion of a friend. Asked for a full set, almond shape, black with some basic spider webs on my ring fingers. The technician that did my nails was not clear what an almond shape was, so I explained it to her, and ultimately she did give me a good shape. My polish was also neatly applied, and I didn't end up with bubbles, which is my most frequent issue.
The problem I had with my experience was that my technician was rushing even though the shop was not super busy, and she was downright careless with the drill. I have clumps of dried acrylic under some of my nails, and several spots on multiple fingers that she cut my skin with the drill. She had great difficulty communicating, and her English was very poor, so instead of the spider webs I asked for I got chunky gold glitter on my ring fingers; something I would never ask for. I like a dark or red polish, and only request nail art during Halloween. She was so rushed that I didn't realize what she was doing until she was painting the glitter, then didn't understand when I was telling her no.
My friend that suggested the shop had an amazing experience, so I really wanted to like this place. Overall, I'm pleased with the shape and application of the color polish I chose, but the cutting of my skin with the drill is a deal breaker for me.
