I took my brand new but leaking Hoover steam vac to the service center in Chandler after Hoover told me Mulqueen's would fix it at no cost. The "gentleman" on duty told me "you broke a rod" and that it would be a repair that I would have to pay for myself. I replied that I did not want to pay anything for a unit that had just been unpacked and repeated what Hoover had told me. His response was "we're done here" and he gestured towards the door. I would have appreciated a kinder explanation of their policies.
