rev:text	Very pleasantly surprised how much my wife and I enjoyed this place. At first, we came in the place was packed and no one was there to greet us. Oddly enough, the kitchen window was right next to us and the kitchen started to say hi and talk to us. NOTE: they were extremely busy and hopping around but still made it a point to greet us.... Very quickly, the server came back the told us we will be helped shortly, And sure enough with minute wait, we were sat at our table. The Server was fast, friendly and helpful. The Skinny: My wife got the Fried Green Tomatoes. I wasn't excited since I am not a huge fan nor a little fan of tomatoes... but I like ketchup. So, I must say and with my wife pushing me, I tried a little piece... well I almost ate half the appetizer with her. : ) The Chicken & Dumplings were pretty dang good, there are so many takes and interpretations of this dish. Regardless, this version was delicious. My wife tried the Country Fried Steak which was really good too... Was this my favorite southern food, no. I still love my mom's. But the cooks understand quality and seasoning, it is refreshing to go to a place that just gets it right when respecting the food as oppose to using gimmicks and flare to get success.....
