  • I do not even know where to start. I get emotional thinking about how good the teachers and Director at Cactus Preschool are with my daughter. This was my daughter's first time going to a care facility of any kind. She had been home-schooled up to this point and we thought it was a good idea to allow her to go to school to get the social interaction and to learn from teachers, other than her parents. It literally took me about a year to find a place that I was comfortable enough to trust with my daughter's care and learning, but Cactus did not disappoint! I remember calling, about 3 months before making the final decision, and the first time her Dad, little sister, and I went in to meet the staff and to see the other children. It felt like home and it felt safe. They remembered her name and took time to learn who she was:) My daughter was scared and cried a lot the first couple of weeks, but the teachers and Director let me know that she is in good hands and she loves going to school now! She only goes in twice a week, for now, but I feel comfortable increasing her days, once she turns four. I just called to check on her a few moments ago and the director did not hesitate to tell me she was eating lunch and smiling:) This made my day because I did not feel like I was a bother. She is learning so much, so fast and each time she goes to school she talks to me about something new she learned that day. This means a lot because I am an educator and it is important that my daughters are in school with teachers who foster the love for learning and make learning fun. I know her little sister will also thrive here. Thank you, Cactus Preschool, for making my daughter's first school experience a great one!! I cannot wait to get her little sister started in a few years!
