| - Take this review from a seasoned veteran of Vegas buffets. The $19.99 weekday lunch buffet at the Aria was my favorite buffet in Vegas, ever. Yes, somehow the wifey and I ended up in Vegas, again, after my bro.i.l.'s (ie my wife's brother, not the husband of my sister) wedding in SoCal. We stayed at the Aria and ate at the lunch buffet on a whim and because we didn't feel like walking around in 100+ degree weather outside (38C for all you metric people).
King Crab legs, prime rib, pasta and omelette stations, sushi (rolls and a few pieces of nigiri), desserts by Jean Phillipe, and more- FOR LUNCH. But the station that put this buffet experience over the top was the Chinese station. Yes, believe it or not, the Chinese food station at Aria's buffet was excellent. So fresh, not salty, no taste/aftertaste of madison square garden, and not too oily. The best Chinese I've had at a buffet- bar none.
I don't plan on going back to Lost Wages for a while. But the next time I'm there, I'll be eating here again.
