  • I have been here twice and both times have been very mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken fried steak on the second try and the meat was grey and lacked flavor and the green beans and potatoes had an obviously chemical canned flavor that was nearly inedible. I get the draw of this place though. It's the waitresses with tight shirts serving old white construction workers and good ol boys who ogle the girls who are not that pretty considering this is a college town. I love a good diner and I have been to some great ones and this was sub par I vowed never to return because the place was bad both times I visited and there are some really good cafes very near here that are a better value and have better food. Also the building it is located in is a shoddy trailer park looking place that is sort of vintage but not in that good vintage kind of way like diners I have been to in Flagstaff and out in the California desert. Even a Denny's offers better value and better food than this place.
