I worked with Cox Communications about 5 years and had a horrible experience, so I switched to Century Link. I just recently moved and my gated community is only wired for Cox Communications, so I reluctantly started a new service order with them. They showed up on Saturday, 9/9/17 and were supposed to set things up outside and then set up the equipment inside. About 30 minutes into him working outside he said that a pipe was blocked and that he couldn't complete the job and would need a supervisor to come out and try to fix the clog, but they would follow up with me. There was no follow up. Apparently the supervisor was unable to fix it, but I only found this out because I, MYSELF called in about it. I had to wait until Monday for a "Pro" to come out and fix it. Well, it's Tuesday and guess what? They NEVER SHOWED UP. I called in today and asked if they could come fix it today and they said "They can't say for certain or make any promises". This person was given an "All day window" and just never showed up to do the work. Now I have to wait God knows how long for them to fix the outside, and then schedule an entirely separate appointment, taking up more PTO at work, for them to come install on the inside of my home.
This is the most socially irresponsible company I have ever dealt with. Scum of the earth. Avoid at all cost!
