| - Wow, this place is pure evil. I went here to attempt to get a simple teeth cleaning and two wisdom teeth extracted with my Humana insurance. After waiting 15 minutes in the seemingly empty waiting room while the dentist was on the computer in the back room, they took some x-rays and then told me that I have "periodontal disease" and that I needed a special laser cleaning. They quoted me $2583.50 just to have my teeth cleaned and the 2 teeth pulled. Naturally, I left WITHOUT A TEETH CLEANING. I later received a bill for $340 for 4 "2D digital imaging" color photos that are not covered by insurance and that I never consented to, and I was never even told they were being taken. They must have been taken at the same time as the x-rays, so I did not even know they were being taken. My girlfriend's sister happens to be a dentist and gave me an exam after I was seen here, and surprise - no periodontal disease. Beware of the $39 coupon advertised on their website - the fine print says it is not applicable if you have periodontal disease or if you see the pediatric dentist (basically if you are a child - not applicable, and if you are an adult they will definitely accuse you of having "periodontal disease" and you will no doubt be stuck with a giant bill for your fancy laser cleaning). My girlfriend's sister who is a dentist said it is easy to fake the periodontal exam and make it seem worse than it is. She also looked over the $2583.50 quote and apparently they charge for routine things such as irrigation (they charge $290 post insurance, $460 without insurance) - she says charges like these are unjustified and unheard of, and she has never heard of such shady practices. Go anywhere but here, basically.
Also, I went here initially because of the overwhelming number of 5 star reviews (which in my personal opinion are falsified, especially because after I published this review they came out with 3 five star reviews the next day addressing my points, one from an account created on the same day). If you look at the one star reviews, you will see that all of our reviews are very consistent, mentioning the same points (upselling, falsified periodontal disease diagnosis). I find it very odd that every review is either 1 or 5 stars. Maybe tomorrow they will publish a 4 star review just to prove me wrong - I wouldn't put it past these people.
