| - One word: Disgusting
Came here with my friends since our usual salon was all booked. We all got pedicures. I was wearing a dress, so the lady who was doing my pedicure handed me a towel to put on my lap. Standard at any nail salon. Well let me tell you what was not standard - the towel being damp. It was weird. I'm sure they just put a used towel on me.. yuck!! I probably should have spoke up, but out of politeness, I didn't.
I also wasn't offered anything to drink. The lady who was doing my pedicure seemed to be in rush, she didn't massage my feet or legs. Instead, kept on slathering lotion on my legs. They were sooooo sticky and uncomfortable. I also noticed during my session that she was sharing tools with the nail tech next to hers. Umm hello, whatever happened to "sanitary standards"?
But here's where it gets even more annoying. After she finished my pedicure, she stared cleaning her foot spa with my feet still sitting/drying on top of it!! Soap/detergent and water kept on splashing, it was really unprofessional of her. Like she couldn't have waited until I got off the chair to clean it?!?!
Oh, and she didn't put my flip flops back on for me... After she finished cleaning the foot spa, she just walked away without saying anything, disappeared, never to be seen again by me.. poof!!! I had to wait until my feet were adequately dried in order for me to even move away from the chair.
Overall, I had to horrible experience here. It really wasn't worth the money or the time. Go to Elaine's. They will treat you like a real customer.
