  • *disclaimer - I'm white and love Dim Sum but rely on my chinese speaking aunt to order for me when we go to Ping Pang Pong since I never know what cart has what! The only reason I went here instead of there was that they had a menu with descriptions AND pictures so I knew what I was ordering! =) This place was great! Went on a Friday night and there was only one other group in the whole restaurant. (I thought maybe they weren't open? But apparently they are much busier for breakfast/lunch) The majority of the dim sum items were $2.98 tues-friday, can't beat that! There were a few other seafood choices that were in the $4-8 range as well. We ordered 4 items to share (usually 2-3 pieces per plate) and our total was $15! Awesome! Got the sweet pork BBQ buns, chicken buns, red bean sesame balls and pot stickers. All were delicious. The service was great, we got our food quickly, it was fresh made, steaming hot and delicious! The manager(?) Elaine came over and talked with us, she was so nice! She told us all about dim sum and how their food compares to the other places, and why they don't have carts 24-7 (because the food temp doesn't stay hot enough and it isn't fresh after awhile so they only do the carts during the peak hours when they are busy). Any other time it's made to order. They were super concerned with freshness and quality in their food. You can see the whole prep line and everything is super clean (no hidden kitchen). The restaurants is huge and kind of looks like a mall food court but food was delicious, and cheap, and service was fast and excellent. Totally will go back!
