This place really is an escape. In my opinion it's a Pittsburgh gem, not just a neighborhood gem. It's tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood and from outward appearances, is not a bustling coffee/tea shop. But once inside, it's full of patrons sipping, relaxing, working or converging. The best part for me is the outdoor patio, I find it so zen and the perfect space to enjoy a bevvie. They have a huge variety of teas and coffees. I usually get their green teas and recommend the rosemary latte and their lavender lattes. If you're in the mood for a change of scenery and vibe from the usual coffee joint, come here. I wouldn't call their prices inexpensive, but think they're on par with other independent coffee/tea establishments. They also have baked goods and treats on the premises. Art, animal and freedom to be... friendly.
