This was by far the worst dealership experience I have ever had. My boyfriend and I went to go look at Subaru's recently and decided to head over to Ganley in North Olmsted. We walked around the lot for at least 30 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Finally when someone asked us if we were being helped and we answered no, the guy told us to come inside and he would be with us in a minute. 20 minutes later I look over at the guy (who had another couple also waiting on him) and I see him in an office bs-ing with some of his coworkers and completely oblivious of my glare. Finally we were approached by another person who asks us again if we are being helped and AGAIN we answer no. She passes us off to a sales lady who I saw walk by us earlier without saying a word to us. This lady (I won't name names) was the most AWKWARD/slow moving car saleswoman I have ever met. Not only were the test drives extremely uncomfortable, but at one point she actually made a personal phone call from the back seat. Each time we test drove a different vehicle, it would take her at least 20-30 minutes to get the keys and pull it around to the front. By the end we got so frustrated with the process that we ended up walking out.
A couple days later, my boyfriend receives a call from a lady (not our saleswoman) at the dealership asking how our experience was. He candidly explained how poor our experience was and she apologized profusely and asked to schedule us with a different sales associate, promising that our experience would be much better this time. WRONG. I was not able to go to the appointment, however my boyfriend did. He actually got there early and walked around the lot. AGAIN no one helped him and there were sales people available. My boyfriend waited until his appointment time to go in and introduce himself to this new sales guy (again I won't name names). The sales guy told him that he was just finishing up with another customer that also had an appointment but would be with my boyfriend shortly. My boyfriend sat and waited for 30 minutes only to realize the sales guy had left the Subaru building and was now assisting another customer over at VW. Are you kidding me???! After knowing that we had already had a terrible previous experience, you can't even make a point to not double book yourself?? IT IS LIKE THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT WANT TO SELL CARS! They have just lost the business of 2 potential buyers and I will be sure to share this experience with friends/family in the market to buy a car.
