  • Really nice coffee in the newer Rooster. Americanos and baked goods are of the expected high standard. Has less of a laid-back Riverdale vibe (see the sunny Broadview location) and more of a downtown student-hub feel but it's still comfortable to hang and chat, it looks nicely put together and the staff are unfailingly friendly. Can be insanely busy with lineups to the point you might think twice about going over there if you just have a few minutes. Do us a all a favor, learn how to handle cash instead of fumbling with e-payment over three dollars ;) .
