  • My daughter has been getting her lashes done in Los Angeles for a few years now. She has been trying to get me interested in trying it, but I live in Atlanta and haven't found a studio near enough to me that I feel comfortable making a commitment to the process. We have a second home in the area and because she had a few days off, we booked two appointments at Lash Out so that she could start over after having some issues with her last L.A. extensions, and I could try it for the first time. The studio is in a medical office complex, and it is attractively decorated, and even the music on the sound system was really nice and soothing. The receptionist made us feel very comfortable right away. She was professional and interested in making our experience pleasant. We had gone out to lunch earlier, so I needed to remove my eye makeup, and the powder room had everything I needed. My daughter got started before me, because she was having her old lashes removed. I started fairly quickly afterwards and Teresa (sp?) made me feel at ease, so she noticed that I was nervous. She asked if i wanted volume or length, and i said definitely volume, and she went right to work. The chairs are huge and overstuffed and lay back so far that I was almost laying flat. I relaxed gradually as she explained the whole process as we went along. We shared some small talk and then I went into an almost sleep zone. The time flew by and when I woke up, I had eyelashes again! I would return often if I lived here, but since we only visit every other month or so, I will have to find a place this nice near where I live. That will be hard to do. I highly recommend Lash Out.
