  • This review is solely for the childcare during Sunday's. My son is new to this children's church. He has always done wonderful at our old church. He's older now and this teacher has a different routine of doing things. The first Sunday we brought our son the teacher in charge of the 2 -3 yr olds was rude and had an attitude with the greeter showing us to his classroom. My husband and I thought maybe she was having a bad day. Well I was in line to pick up our son today and he saw me and got excited and waited at the gate instead of his chair. She raised her voice at him to get back in his chair and he started crying. She made a comment to the parent in front of me "oh his lungs" because at that point he was screaming. I said I was his mom and I was next in line I grabbed his bag and got my son. I understand she may have been at this church for many years however she always seems irritated to be there. My husband spoke with her and she said she did raise her voice at our son and would raise her voice at a parent too. Wow really? So is she creating the type of environment that will excite my child to come back or to instill fear? My son was ALWAYS excited to go to children's church in CA. We will NEVER bring our son back EVER! How dare she raise her voice at any child or parent?! She needs to be removed from this age group. Children's Church is suppose to be a LOVING place to teach children about Jesus. I get there are 20 kids in this class, however, if you have to raise your voice at children to get the job done then move on!
