"Don't judge a book by it's cover" was right. Candidly, from the outside this place was as bit scary. The paint on the walls were discolored and it looked broken down. But I love places like that when they surprise the hell out of you once you're inside. You know what I mean? Like in movies when someone is walking through what they think is a deserted place but they go into a room and it's a freaking ball.
Nevertheless, I have to say that I still can't find a ramen place that's better than Jinya. This place was OK. Nothing special on the menu that you can't find at any other ramen joint and the food wasn't the best I'd had. I got the spicy miso...it was OK. And I also got a side of kimchi which I am SUCH a critic of. It's either good or it isn't. It wasn't.
All in all this place wasn't horrible but next time I want ramen and I'm on this side of town it wouldn't be the first to pop into my head. If I ever do find myself here again and it's better I will update my review.
