  • I signed up to Yelp just to leave this review. New to the car buying experience and doing research online. The internet is the best and the worst thing for informing you of what to and not to do with dealing with car salesman. I like to keep it simple and just be real about it "Lets meet somewhere fair where the seller and buyer are walking away happy". I am in the stage where I am just test driving cars I looked into to see what I do/dont like. Went to Keffer Mazda and test drove a 13' and 14' Mazda and was just curious about the price and what it would like like out the door. I have been asking all dealerships this question so I can have a better idea of what is/is not doable for me. Again, trying to make it simple. Maybe I asked the wrong question but next thing I knew I sat down at a desk and being asked all these questions about credit and if I am late on my payments ever, etc. This instantly turned me off to entire idea of doing any business with this dealer, whether I liked the car or not. I stated several times that I was not sure about anything other than that I was trying to find what cars I loved and take the next step when I knew. So for all you 'newbies' to the car buying experience, If you do go to Keffer Mazda (they have some nice cars) please make sure you only ask questions based on what you are ready to discuss. In seconds you could find yourself being sat down with a piece paper talking about your credit and what you 'want' to pay each month. Important questions yes, but only for those who are ready to start negotiating.
