| - Brought or dog in to have her anal glands "popped" for starters they said they had to do an exam before they would do the pop. They also requested we bring in a poop sample to test for worms, I saw no need and did not bring one in. Mentioned dog has been itching her ears frequently, they had recently been cleaned 2 weeks earlier by another vet before we got her. Vet said he would take a look at them. We were told $47 for the exam and $18 for anal pop.He was also going to look to See if she has been spayed, as she was a rescue and we didn't know but thought she was. He took the her in the back when vet tech brought her out, she mentioned anal glands were not really bad, other than that gave no explanation of what else was done, then we get a book for $183 she was given an injection for what we don't know, 2 prescriptions and charged $32 for looking at her ears, says they cleaned then but they were not dirty. Can get my dog bathed, blow dry, brushed, nails and pads trimmed, ears cleaned and anal glands expressed at groomers for $25!!
Have had this problem in the past, my bad bringing her back. They are very behind in times, lack up to date equipment and technology. Everytime seems like a money grab. BEST TO STAY AWAY AND FIND A VET THAT TRULY CARES ABOUT YOUR PET.
Quick update-after complaining about unauthorized injection vet did credit me for it. But still stuck with two prescriptions that were not necessary to say the least.
