  • From the moment my husband and I arrived, we were impressed with the delightful antique furnishings, the friendly staff and the efforts made to combine old world elegance with modern conveniences. We enjoyed every moment we spent at the inn. The breakfasts were tasty and helpings were generous. I had a couple of food allergies which the kitchen staff willingly accommodated. We found the staff went above and beyond and helped us whenever asked with information about directions, destinations, restaurants and more. In addition, the bed and breakfast is conveniently located just 10 minutes or so from "uptown" which is what locals call the center of town--a common destination for tourists. I would heartily recommend the Morehead Inn to anyone who wants more than the generic modern hotel experience.
