  • I've never paid for housekeeping before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but the online reservation process was extremely smooth and easy to understand. I was scheduled to have my housecleaners arrive sometime between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. They arrived right on time. As they entered my apartment, I let them know that I had cleaned the majority of the apartment already, but I was looking to have some deep cleaning done in some trouble spots, specifically the shower, the toilet, behind and the sides of the stove and refrigerator, the baseboards, and underneath the sinks in the house. I presented them with a small list of the areas I wanted them to cover. One of the ladies read the list, sat it down, and they began working. They never looked at the list again, and I later discovered they threw it away before leaving. The majority of the service I received was okay. They did a lot of things I didn't specifically ask them to do- they wiped down my counters, mirrors, blinds, etc. I was happy with them doing it, although I didn't feel it was too necessary as I had just done it a few days prior. The reason I probably wouldn't purchase services from this company again is because they completely ignored some of the items I had requested upon their arrival. While they did clean the baseboards, toilet, and shower as I had requested, they did not clean the sides or behind the stove or refrigerator. If they had maybe taken less time cleaning things that I had already cleaned and maybe put it towards the items on the list I had asked of them, I probably would be writing a 5 star review. Additionally, one of the housecleaners was consistently on her cell phone every half hour or so talking to someone for 5-10 minutes at a time. I don't know if she's aware I knew or not, but I did. She could have just as easily asked me if she could step outside for a moment while she called her family, and I would have gladly said yes. It's the fact that she didn't take that initiative to inquire with me in the first place. As I see it- I lost out on approximately 20-40 minutes worth of work from her just because of that. Again, maybe if she hadn't been on her phone making personal calls she would have cleaned behind and the sides of the stove and fridge like I'd requested. After receiving my service, the company contacted me to inquire about my satisfaction. I mentioned the above items, and they were quick to rectify it, offering a refund of half the amount that I paid for the service. I was pleasantly surprised, and thankful for their attention to the matter. This is what raised my review from 1 star to 3. The service I received was not terrible, don't get me wrong. But it certainly wasn't great either. The customer service on the administrative side was top notch though!
