Good news U of T students, you can now get a decent sugar fill without venturing too far off campus.
I decided to check this place out with my friend after walking past it a couple times. Bloggers, take note: the decor just cries instagram-worthy.
Our order: Strawberry loves & Black temptation.
I really liked the lychee seaweed balls. They have a satisfying 'pop' when biting down and are really tasty. I also really enjoyed the strawberry flavour of the ice.
I was so focused on my own food that I didn't get to try a lot of my friend's order, but the melted ice cream that I did get to taste reminded me of cereal milk.
Overall, I'd recommend making a stop here. The food isn't mind-blowingly amazing to warrant going out of your way, but if you're in the area and craving sweets, Dessert Kitchen is the way to go.
