  • I had to take my car here recently for a throttle cable replacement. I brought it in an hour before it closed but no mechanics were around so I had to leave it overnight. They charge a diagnostic fee of $89 to just look at the car. I did have to call in to check on the status of my car cause I had not heard from them when it hit 12pm. They quoted me $410 for the replacement and I added an extra $29.99 for an oil change. When I arrived the total was $389 because they had signed me up for a Pep Boys rewards club which applied a discount. I wasn't happy with the price but I was at the same time happy that they did bring the price down w/o me having to ask.
