We made the trek down from northern phoenix to get some authentic ramen. I wanted to love this place and I wanted it to be worth the trip, but it just wasn't. The decor is as previously described - you sort of time warp back to the 80's but it is clean and well loved by its owner. They do have a lot of authentic menu items and a great kids meal, but the ramen was just not that good. Its downfall was the broth. Hubby got the salmon chirashi which was also not that fresh. If I'm in the area, I may give it another try for the don-buris.
