The food here is always spectacular. I almost always get the smothered fried chicken with fried corn and mac and cheese. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and crisp, and the gravy puts the chicken over the top. It comes with fluffy and sweet cornbread. The greens are good too. I've also enjoyed the fried catfish.
The dinner entree comes with soup, which may be the best part. The fish stew is not to be missed! It is so flavorful and slightly spicy.
My only complaint is that the service/kitchen is slow. It is worth the wait, but you just have to mentally prepare yourself to hang out for a while before your food arrives.
