  • Extremely disappointed with Wiggles and Wags tonight. I'm honestly a little irate to be honest, but I feel calling about this will do nothing. I have previously boarded my two sweet dogs (that the handlers always compliment and adore) twice at Wiggles and Wags with no issues. They came back safe and sound and we got pictures of them enjoying themselves both times. This time was absolutely awful though. We went away for a mere 3 days. During that time we asked on two separate days for pictures and never got any. This was annoying because twice they didn't follow through with pictures but since they've done such a great job I wasn't bothered. I come back home today and pick them up and they absolutely reek of urine. They have never smelt this way when staying with them and the fact the moment they walked them out I could smell the stench says a lot, as this means the handlers clearly could smell this as well and thought it was acceptable to return our pets like this (instead of say bathing them a little once they caught a whiff of it). It's not. This really bothered me but I tried to ignore it. Then my golden who is very good about holding it suddenly felt the urge to pee a LOT once we got into the parking lot. It's very obvious nobody had taken him out in awhile, because as soon as we got home he peed in our front yard as well a LOT which further signaled he wasn't taken care of properly. We get into the house and BOTH of my dogs are desperately lapping up water. One of them isn't even a big water drinker so this was another bad sign, coupled with the fact they returned almost all of the food we gave them to feed our dogs. It's very obvious why they didn't take pictures now, and I'm truly wondering if anyone even took care of my dogs or if they sat in their "room" most of the day. I seriously would not be surprised if they've smelt like urine for more than a day as well which really upsets me as a pet owner. For $120 this place is not worth that sort of treatment. We got back from a flight and now we have to bathe our dogs instead of relax because clearly they were too lazy to even merely wash off our dogs before pickup or at least take them out as I'm seriously wondering if my small dog soiled herself from having to hold it too long. I would've sworn up and down how awesome this place is prior to this last stay, but the condition they were returned in this time is absolutely unacceptable and I cannot stand for it. I didn't see the usual handler(s) so maybe that's the case, but I'm not chancing it. We won't be returning.
