| - You can definitely tell this hotel is transitioning. Albeit, slowly but they are trying.
Pros:
-incredibly comfortable mattress/bed
-overall color design
-not too far from the strip
-friendly staff
Cons:
-Amenities - While the website advertised a hot tub (a key component for booking this hotel) it was "out of order" for cleaning. When asked how long it would be out of service (assumed a day or two) we were told by staff it wouldn't be up and running for weeks. Major let down (couldn't this have been posted on their website?)
-Amenities - The only ice machine within our entire building was out of service. Major inconvenience.
- Cleanliness - Whomever the head of housekeeping is, needs to be demoted. Upon entering the room we immediately noticed a layer of dust on all countertops. The side tables hadn't looked to have been touched since the renovation of the room.
-Cleanliness - When we were out housekeeping came by and, surprise, did the bare minimum. They made the bed and left new towels on a chair. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion were not refilled/ replaced. The rug was covered in crumbs, I take the blame for that, but left not vacuumed.
-Amenities - the room featured a large tub with multiple jets, that after filling the tub, did not work. We inquired about a room that had a working tub but were told the jets had never been "hooked up".
All in all, I would stay here again but with the pace the owners are going I'd give it another year before you could really call this a "resort".
