  • This place is truly so cool. It's usually got dim lighting that gives it this sort of hole in the wall feel. Some of the best cocktails I've ever tried, with the most creative combinations and flavor additions like jalapenos, lavendar, ginger, and pomegranate. It's not as pleasant when it's packed, which it sometimes is, but I still give it 4 stars. Definitely try the absinthe served in the traditional. Can't go wrong with that, but watch yourself! It's very strong and very sneaky. If they open the side seats and booths, grab one quickly because they fill up fast. It's definitely a nice change of pace from the madness that is Freemont. One of the only problems is that the women's bathroom is comprised almost completely of mirrored glass, and there's no lights in the stall. We all know what happens when drunk girls use the facilities. And in the dark? Ah forget about it. Pee pee and toilet paper everywhere. Even so, this is still a diamond in the rough.
