| - This place is more like a lodge, not a resort! It must have been really beautiful back then when they first built it, but it's really run down.
Positive on this place is, the pond in the front with the ducks and fishes.
Upon arrival my Husband and I were greeted by the front desk worker. He was pleasant, then he starts to gives us directions on how to get to our room. He tells us to go up the stairs, then turn right or go all the way down. Yes, no elevators and there's only 3 floors, but we had a full size luggage. Ready for a little qt away from our kids. The hotel itself has this stench. Just not something you would be able to relax in.
Another thing was, there's no WIFI, so if you need to get some work done, this isn't the place for you.
My husband enjoyed that part, but I didn't. We had kids back home that we needed to stay in contact with.
The rooms are very outdated. The floor squeaks when you walk and you can hear other patrons if anyone is staying next door to you. You can hear toilets flushing and showers running. The bathroom was gross and the toilet wasn't well cleaned. Disgusting. The tiles are just disgusting as well. They could really use a good scrub. The towels didn't smell fresh either and they were really small. Maybe enough for a 5 year old. The carpet in the room looked really old and dirty as well. When you're walking through their hallways, it smells like a bathroom. There's also a really strong stench there as well. It's not inviting. Oh and the AC unit is in the room, so it gets loud. The television would freeze up and we had to wait for it to reload. Urgh.
There's also a room to the right when you walk in the "RESORT" it's a bar I think or a bar and grill and it's so run down. The chairs are so uncomfortable and there's a part in the floor that's missing. When we got back home to our kids, my husband was also complaining of having a tummy ache and it may have been due to undercooked food. Not too sure. We did eat different things from eachother, so that might have been it.
Save your money. Stay somewhere else. They could really use some major upgrading. If you're looking to be totally off the grid, this place is for you. Very rustic "LODGE", not "RESORT". It could also use a really good cleaning. Everything just looks so worn out and outdated. I would never go back to this pace. Sorry to say, but management really needs to go through this place thoroughly and see what improvements can be made.
