| - Man, what a night. First off, it's Vegas so immediately I felt good about everything. Secondly, the company was amazing. Third, the wines I consumed were stupid good.
StripSteak is one of Michael Mina's restaurants and it doesn't disappoint. Located inside the Mandalay Bay hotel and casino, the space is vaulted and beautiful. We were promptly greeted by a friendly host and taken to our seats in the back of the restaurant. The Sommelier came right over and poured us a bottle of champagne on the house (yes, knowing Michael has its perks) and we began the amazing menu.
Courses:
1. Three variations of fries.
2. Hamachi course topped with osetera caviar. Um, yes please.
3. 64.5 degree egg on a bed of quinoa, duck prosciutto, and asparagus.
4. Bass with kiffir lime broth and crispy onions
5. Pork belly with a tempura fried mussel
6. Wagu Beef, Alaskan king crab, and truffles for daaaaayzzzzzz
Our sides consisted of taziki asparagus, mushrooms and pearl onions, and a wonderfully spiced vegetable risotto.
All in all, everything was cooked to perfection by "Chef G" and the night was just top notch. If you're in Vegas and want a break from the crazy, hit up this gem.
