| - A good, reasonably-priced place to get some practice in. The range is decent, and while some of the balls are past their prime, you can still get some good practice for your dollar. They also have a nice chipping green and putting green to practice on.
The course is fun- mostly shorter par 3's with a few longer holes. Beware if you stray off the fairways (not that I ever would... no... never), because the rough is sparse, and it quickly turns to rocky dirt, punishing inaccuracy. A few of the par 3's are easy to sail, leaving you out in the desert-y terrain. There can also be some gopher holes depending on the season. But hey, the fees are cheap, the staff is friendly, and the location is convenient. It'll get backed up every now and then because it is a place that is beginner-friendly, so keep that in mind when you're making the turn in the middle of the summer.
