  • LONG STORY SHORT - Hired plumber and paid plumber -yes! Ridiculous upcharges-yes! NO SHOW-TWICE! (24/7 is a joke!) Agreed upon services provided-no! Quality -no! DETAILS - Had issues with kitchen sink draining. Purchased Angie's List deal for kitchen sink drainage. Plumber came and said the deal I purchased does not include my particular kitchen sink thus an upcharge of $179. Then, plumber said I needed to replace a part and it will cost me an additional $120. I found the part at Home Depot for $15. I called the plumber back when I noticed that even with the new part, it was still not draining properly. The customer service started off great but then it went south fast! I spoke with Jan (customer service manager) on 12/24 around 10am and he said he will see if he can find someone and get back to me. I went to lunch at noon only to receive a call from Dan (another plumber) saying that he's at my house. I told him that I wasn't expecting him as Jan did not tell me a time but said he will call me back. I asked Dan if we could reschedule to 2pm when I'll get back home. He said he'll see me at 2pm. Then, Jan called me around 1pm to let me know that Dan will not be available at 2pm and we rescheduled between 7am-8am on Mon, 12/28. At 8:10am, no one showed up so I called Jan. Mark jumped on the called and let me know that they'll have to call me back. I said that I had class at 9:30, which I didn't make btw due to this fiasco. At this point, I was livid, two NO SHOWS and sink still not draining properly. The irony is that the name of this plumbing business is 24/7 Plumbing. I wouldn't have had a problem with paying the $179 if I actually got results! Mark called me back and said they don't have anyone available to send over this morning so I ask him for a refund so that I can find someone else to get the job done. At that point, he told me that I should find someone else and hung up on me! I called back and Jan said the earliest they can do is the next day. I told him that was unacceptable and for him to tell Mark that I would like a refund if no one is available to come out this morning. Jan said he will call me back. I told him to let Mark (the owner) know that I will be disputing the credit charge for non-delivery of services paid and will be writing this review online. Haven't heard back. ATTENTION WOMEN CUSTOMERS: You know how it feels when you walk into a car dealership and they try to rip you off because they don't think you know anything about cars. I GET THE SAME FEELING FROM THESE PEOPLE! BUYERS BEWARE!
