| - I love haunted houses! So when I was invited by friend, I couldn't say no. We went on 10/26/17 at 7pm.
We planned on doing both haunted houses but the lines were way too long. So we decide to do Hotel Fear, even though we were really looking forward to doing both. Hotel fear seemed to have the shorter line anyways so we figured we can get that one out the way faster and then head over to the other. But we waited in line for a little bit over an hour. So we were unable to make it to the Asylum.
I did notice that they were letting people go inside with just their parties, but then when it was our turn we were told that we would be paired up with two others since it was just us two and it HAD to be 4. Im thinking it was because they were going to close at 10pm and they were running a little bit behind, the lines were still pretty long. Unfortunately i feel like it would have been a lot scarier and better if it was just my friend and I. I only say that because we were paired up with a drunk couple.
I did enjoy myself though. Some actors were not scary, but for the most part they do pretty well, but I wasn't too amazed. The set up was good and the actors make up was great. From what I heard (and read), the Asylum was way better. I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get to go to the asylum but that is not necessarily their fault!
They have actors roaming around while you wait in line, and the more scared you are the more they will approach you! Don't worry though, they are not allowed and they will not touch you lol. It seems ok for all ages, obviously parents know their own kids and how well they can handle fear, because my youngest sister would have probably ran out of their crying and shes 17 lol..
Id probably give this a try one more time next year :)
