  • I'm totally unsure how to rate Nordstroms. I drove to Calgary from Edmonton just to visit and I hoped, shop. On the one hand the store is beautiful & the service is great. It's smaller than I was used to in the States, but still a nice a store. Being that I'm plump I was searching around for the bigger sizes... None. Not one. There is no plus size section in the store. So while they flog beautiful clothes on their website and in the States, they chose not to bring that to Canada. Apparently the plus size section is going to be in Vancouver. Right, because people in BC are know for being plump and inactive and for being so far from the States they never go there...oh wait, Seattle is only a couple hours away by car and most Vancouverites go shopping there often. I'm seriously disappointed. It's not that Canadians don't want US stores here, we do, & we're excited to see them. it's that the companies that come here keep screwing up.
